Edited by Peggy Chan
The 2008 CAW Health Care Conference will be held on April 25 - 27 at the CAW Family Education Centre in Port Elgin. The conference is entitled "Quality and Equity - Challenging the Standards", and will compliment the union's ongoing Dignity is a Minimum Standard campaign.
This year's conference follows a number of important contract negotiations for CAW members in the health care sector. The conference will be organized around workshops and plenary sessions, with more information to follow shortly.
This is the fourth CAW Health Care conference. Participation is restricted to those members who work in the health care services sector.
